Promoting the Gundog breeds since 1954

BRIEF HISTORY
The origins of the GBC date back to 1954 when, under the leadership of Mrs Southfield, a committee of four or five stalwarts formed a club for Gundog owners. In 1955 this club was recognised by the Kennel Club and became known as the Gundog Breeds Club. From those pioneering days the Club has grown to a membership in 2018 of over 6,700
